Artery/ Third Harbor Tunnel Project
$14.6
billion transportation infrastructure project often called
the most technically advanced highway project ever undertaken.
The project consisted of three major interchanges; a cable-stayed
bridge; 20+ miles of underground tunnels; 50 miles of viaducts;
and dozens of support buildings and facilities. Positions
held by some of our employees on the Big Dig Project include
Construction Critical Items Manager, Project Engineer, Resident
Engineer, Supervisor of Planning, Design Engineer, Lead Field
Engineer and Milestone Manager, among others.

Provided
program management support for business operations including
reviewing proposed energy saving technologies, developing
a client data base and providing contract review services.
New Lebanon Elementary
School Field Development Study
Produced
study for New Lebanon Elementary School PTA to evaluate the
need for playing fields; the educational and social impact
of such fields; feasibility of constructing fields between
the existing school building and Interstate I-95; and the
cost of such an endeavor.
Greenwich Family
YMCA Renovation and Expansion
Owner´s
Representative Overseeing both design consultant and construction
contractor on $34 million project.
Elements of note include:
- Construction of two underground parking garages
- Construction of a new Olympic-size pool
- Coordination with Facilities Development staff from USA
Swimming
- Construction of a new high school-size gymnasium, squash
court and racquetball court
- Renovation of 70,000 square foot existing structure built
in 1916
- First building designed under the new International Building
Code in the Town of Greenwich. Called the "most complicated
building project in Greenwich" by Building Department
officials.

Developer
and General Contractor
Obtained Planning and Zoning approval to convert former office/warehouse
building into medical space. Pecora Brothers managed the construction
and build-out of tenant spaces including two labs, x-ray facilities,
examination rooms, clean and dirty rooms and general office/administration
spaces.
Environmental
Services for Education FacilitieS
Prior
to joining Pecora Brothers, staff provided construction management,
technical support and contract administration services for
various schools and universities.
Services included: assessment of environmental hazards,
design of abatement programs, coordination with local, state
and federal regulators, management of contractor pre-approval
process, coordination of abatement contractor selection process,
oversight of abatement program, and integration of abatement
schedules with other renovation work.
