Joseph Parlanti, Director of New
Construction
Joe is a graduate of Norwalk State Technical College with
a degree in Architectural Engineering.
He has currently completed a 14,000sqft tenant
fitup for Whitman, Breed, Abott & Morgan at 500 West Putnam
Ave. in Greenwich.
Before joining Pecora Brothers, Joe was
with W&M Construction Corp. for 10 years working as a
project manager responsible for numerous tenant fitups throughout
Fairfield and Westchester County. Noted clients were Citigroup
50,000sqft, Thomson Corp 80,000sqft., UST 15,000sqft, Stamford
Hospital Front End ER, Greenwich Hospital 5,000sqft, Bank
of Ireland 10,000sqft, The Focus Room 15,000sqft and Legg
Mason 90,000sqft.
Along with tenant fitups Joe also completed
many Capital Improvement projects for W&M Properties.
The largest capital improvement project was the 6 million
dollar program to upgrade First Stamford Place. During this
project, major renovations were made to the corridors, restrooms
and lobbies. Also included in the program was the construction
of the café, conference center and workout facility.
Prior to W&M Construction Joe spent 7
years with CPG Architects and Planners of Stamford CT. There
he gained experience in design and contract administration.
Joe’s career started with RBK Associates a residential
architectural / development firm. His diverse design / construction
career spans over 18 years.
Edward J. Fuss, Director of Renovations
Edward attended Lake Superior State University in
Sault Ste., Marie, Michigan from 1987 to 1990. He majored
in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Building Construction
Technology.
Edward has been involved in construction since his early teens.
He started working on residential Projects with Timberline
Wood Products (Greenwich, CT) in 1984. After college, he was
employed at PMS Construction Management Corp., (New Rochelle,
NY) from 1990 to 2006. While employed at PMS, Edward supervised
and managed many Projects for the New York Fire Department
and the New York City Department of Design and Construction.
Projects ranged from simple roof, window and boiler replacements
to new police and fire stations. Some of the major Projects
that Edward worked on while employed with PMS were; the renovation
of the former 41st PCT Station House (Fort Apache), renovation
of Engine Company 10 / Ladder Company 10, located at Ground
Zero (Edward was specifically requested by FDNY to undertake
this Project), construction of the New 33rd Precinct located
in Washington Heights and construction of Engine Company 75
/ Ladder Company 33 / Battalion 19, located at 1075 Walton
Ave., Bronx NY).
Edward’s most recent PMS Project, before joining Pecora
Brothers, Inc., was the renovation and conversion of the First
Reformed Church of Jamaica (located at 10-53 Jamaica Avenue,
Queens NY) from a chapel to a performing arts center. The
Church was constructed in 1848 and was Landmark protected
on three-(3) levels; City, State and Federal. Edward also
provided support and troubleshooting on several other PMS
Projects during his
tenure with PMS.
Edward is extremely knowledgeable in general construction
and well versed in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing
trades. Edward has the ability to coordinate both commercial
and residential construction and works closely with the design
team, utility companies, Town officials and clients to deliver
a first class product in the shortest time frame
possible.
Douglas Finocchio
Sr., Chief Estimator
Douglas`s professional career consists of more than four decades
in the construction and remodeling field. Douglas started
his career as a millworker and cabinet maker. He later spent
twenty years as the President of a small remodeling and home
restoration company. Prior to joining Pecora Brothers, he
worked for a large construction and remodeling company as
an Estimator and Expeditor and for a time as the Manager of
the Purchasing Department. He is responsible for all construction
estimating and renovation project planning and oversees all
renovation Site Superintendents.

Paul A. Dye
III, Senior Project Manager
Paul is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelors
Degree in Civil Engineering. Before joining Pecora Brothers,
Paul worked for Bechtel Corporation as a key member of the
Construction Core for the Boston Central Artery/Tunnel Project.
Paul had numerous positions on the Central Artery/Tunnel Project,
including: Resident Engineer, Construction Contract Close-out
Manager, Lead Field Engineer, Office Engineer, and Field Engineer/Inspector.
Early in his career, Paul gained extensive experience in design
and management of environmental remediation projects at Barnes
and Jarnis, Inc. in Boston, Massachusetts and Civil Engineering
Associates in Shelburne, Vermont. Paul has also been responsible
for managing a team of Quality Control Engineers on various
projects in the Boston metropolitan area. Paul has more than
20 years of experience in providing Construction Management
and Consulting Services. Paul also has a Masters Degree in
Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
